Folders keeps your handy bookmarks in order
By Antti Haverinen Jan 22nd, 2010There is no need for typing your favorite sites every single time. Moreover, don´t accept chaos among your bookmarks any more.
The toolbar in Firefox 3.5.x remembers commonly used sites and organize your bookmarks.
How do I use folders in Firefox
After opening Firefox, there are a specific space for folders.
- Move your mouse cursor between the top of Address bar and the screen in which the site is displayed.
- Right click your mouse and select New folder. Naturally name it (e.g. My first folder)and make a description. Finally confirm it by clicking Add.
- There is your “My first folder” to where you can assign your bookmarks. In order to bookmark lick Ctrl + d at the same time in your keyboard (in Mac Apple-key replaces ctrl-letter). This is a shortcut to bookmark any websites to your “My first folder” (or any other folder).
- Just select your “My first folde”`in Folder Drop-down-menu and click Done.
- Voilà. There is your bookmark in “My first folder”.
